New for 2019 CCM has introduced its newest version of the Extreme Flex pad. The E4.9 pad is a phenomenal value pad especially at the Intermediate level, to cut down on the some added weight CCM has brought over the velcro strap setup and elastic toe string setup. The pad still features the popular speedskin external material and its new dualite core technology for improved torsional flex to help create a tighter seal to the ice. With this version of the E4.9 pad that is exclusive to Source for Sports we have a double external break to help goalies seal the five hole and also flattened the knee roles for improved rebound control. On the inside of the pad we have an upgraded HD/PE knee stack for better comfort when dropping in the butterfly as well as providing a better connection with the ice.
